President Erdoğan addresses iftar dinner in Belgium via phone

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan joined the iftar dinner organised by the Union of International Democrats (UID) in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, via phone

President Erdoğan addressed participants via telephone at the iftar dinner held in Brussels by the Union of International Democrats, attended by AK Party Deputy Chair Zafer Sırakaya and Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the İlim Yayma Foundation.

In his remarks delivered over the phone, President Erdoğan said:

“I extend my heartfelt greetings to the young members of the Union of International Democrats on this blessed and exceptional night of the holy month of Ramadan, whose beginning is mercy, whose middle is forgiveness, and whose end is salvation from eternal punishment. May your night be blessed and your future bright, inshallah. This evening in Ankara, we shared a meaningful iftar with our youth and our athletes, and after the iftar, I returned to İstanbul, where we came together with young people at the airport. They saw me off in Ankara and welcomed me in İstanbul. We experienced the joy of Ramadan together on this vibrant night. I once again convey my heartfelt greetings to all of you.”

Upon receiving birthday wishes from the participants, President Erdoğan expressed his gratitude and thanked them.
