President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has accepted congratulations on the occasion of the October 29 Republic Day at the Presidential Complex.
Upon attending the ceremony held on the occasion of October 29 Republic Day at Anıtkabir, President Erdoğan proceeded to the Presidential Complex.
At the ceremony, national holiday congratulations was extended to President Erdoğan by Speaker of the Grand National Assembly (GNAT) Numan Kurtulmuş, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, AK Party Parliamentary Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, President of the Court of Cassation Ömer Kerkez, President of the Council of State Zeki Yiğit, members of the Presidential Cabinet, Chief of the General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu and the commanders-in-chief of armed forces, President of Religious Affairs Safi Arpaguş, members of the GNAT, Secretary-General of the Presidency Hakkı Susmaz, Presidency's Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran, Director of National Intelligence Organisation (MİT) İbrahim Kalın, President of Defence Industries Haluk Görgün, Governor of Ankara Vasip Şahin, Mayor of Ankara Mansur Yavaş, senior officials of public institutions, ambassadors to Ankara, heads of foreign missions, and representatives of international organisations.
Military personnel of different ranks stationed in the capital also extended their congratulations to President Erdoğan during the ceremony.
