President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a post on his social media account regarding the energy investments made recently.
In his post shared on his Twitter account, President Erdoğan said, "We are providing a resource to our nation, using our country's own resources, that cannot even be imagined by those who are thrilled that they have 'secured a loan' from the loan sharks in London. You ask, 'How?' With our natural gas from the Black Sea, our oil from Gabar, the biggest solar power plant in our country we built in Konya, and projects like Akkuyu, 100 billion dollars of money spent on energy abroad will now be at our nation's disposal."
President Erdoğan declared that they have already begun to set up mechanisms for this, saying that the money will go into peoples' pockets as investments, employment opportunities, and social support.
In his post, President Erdoğan said:
"With the Family and Youth Bank, we will use our own resources to support efforts concerning the future of the family, the pillar of our nation, and the youth, who are the apple of our eye. We will help our housewives retire by covering one-third of their premium costs for free. We will support our youth in all aspects of their lives, from education to employment, from establishing their own business to getting married. We will ensure that each household has at least one employed member. With the Income Supplement Family Support System, we will ensure that all of our households receive money above a certain level. We will rearrange the current social assistance payments within this framework. After all, in the politics of work and service, no one can serve better than we can. Inshallah, we will continue to compete with ourselves after May 14th."
