President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan congratulated President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on his birthday.
President Aliyev of Azerbaijan extended happy birthday wishes to President Erdoğan.
In his message, Aliyev stated that Türkiye, under the wise and far-sighted leadership of President Erdoğan, achieved significant success in every sphere and became a powerful state with a voice in the international arena, and gained great prestige.
Stating that they were sincerely happy with the development and achievements of Türkiye thanks to President Erdoğan's resolute leadership and multi-faceted activities, Aliyev said that President Erdoğan had an irreplaceable role in raising the relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye to their current high level.
Aliyev stated that President Erdoğan earned tremendous respect in Azerbaijan for his efforts to deepen the two nations' unity and alliance, as well as his support for the restoration of Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and liberation of its lands.
In his message, Aliyev expressed his pleasure at the ratification of the Shusha Declaration, which elevated the two countries' relations to the level of alliance, and added, "This declaration marks a new chapter in Azerbaijan's strategic alliance with Türkiye, while also contributing to regional peace and security. Through our collective efforts, we aim to further expand and diversify our fruitful collaborations and productive activities with brotherly Türkiye, which continue to thrive on a daily basis."
