Presidency’s Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran shared a congratulatory message on his NSosyal account on the occasion of the 158th anniversary of the Turkish Red Crescent.
In his message, Head of Communications Duran stated:
“The Turkish Red Crescent is one of the most long-established institutions, preserving our nation’s spirit of compassion and solidarity across generations.
Standing by humanity in times of war, disaster and wherever assistance is needed, the Turkish Red Crescent is not only an organisation that delivers aid but also a great movement of benevolence that represents the conscience of our noble nation.
I would like to thank all the volunteers, employees and benefactors who have contributed to preserving this deep-rooted legacy stretching from Hilal-i Ahmer (Ottoman Red Crescent Society) to the present day, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations on the 158th anniversary of the Turkish Red Crescent.”
