Çanakkale Victory

Çanakkale Battle, one of the milestones in Turkish history, began with the naval battle in the Çanakkale Strait on February 19, 1915. Afterwards, it continued in Sedd-el-Bahr, Arıburnu and Anafartalar fronts. Çanakkale Battle, which lasted for 325 days, came to an end with the victory of the Turkish Army on January 9, 1916.

The Çanakkale Battle is the token of the Turkish soldiers’ love for their homeland and faith. Çanakkale is the epic of a nation that sacrificed everything for the sacred values without a second thought and marched to their death willingly. The Çanakkale spirit is the flare of and precursor to the victory of the National War of Independence.
