Presidency’s Director of Communications Prof. Fahrettin Altun extends message of condolences for the Anadolu Agency correspondent and martyrs

Presidency’s Director of Communications Prof. Fahrettin Altun expressed condolences for Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent Abdulkadir Nişancı, who went missing after falling off a cliff and whose body was found today, and for the soldiers who were martyred during the lookout for Nişancı.

Altun shared a post on his Twitter account about Abdulkadir Nişancı, the AA correspondent who fell off a cliff and went missing during a news follow-up on the road building works at Mt. Soğanlı between Bayburt and Trabzon, and whose body was found 13 days later.

Stating that there has been a hopeful search for AA correspondent Abdulkadir Nişancı for days, but the sad news about him was received, Altun tweeted the following: “I wish God’s mercy on Abdulkadir Nişancı and also Mustafa Gidergelmez and Eyüp Kapaklıkaya, who were martyred during the lookout for him and extend my condolences and wish patience to their families.”
