Presidency’s Director of Communications Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Altun, shared a video on the new military system from his Twitter account.
In his message Presidency’s Director of Communications Altun stated the following: “With the new military system, equality in duration of military service will be ensured. The trained human resource will be used effectively and efficiently. Those who are successful in compulsory military service will be able to be employed in Turkish Armed Forces. Paid military service will be permanent. Most importantly, TAF will be professionalized.”

- Equality in the duration of military services
- Elimination of the system which causes the trained-untrained distinction in the military recruitment law
- Effective and efficient use of manpower resources
- Eliminating interruption of the right to education due to military service
- Employment of those who are successful in the compulsory military service of the Turkish Armed Forces
- Making the paid military service system permanent
- Professionalization of TAF
