“I believe it is imperative for our universities, in line with their primary mission, to focus on researching, generating unique and high-quality knowledge, and developing projects that would expand Türkiye’s horizon. We sincerely wish for our 208 universities, whether it is a well-established one such as Boğaziçi University or a new one opened during our governments, to stand as an epicenter of vision for Türkiye. Our universities must update and adjust themselves to a rapidly changing world as the society, the private sector and the business community in Türkiye keep up with this change and as Türkiye’s star is shining increasingly more brightly across the globe,” President Erdoğan said.
