The Extraordinary Summit of the Heads of State of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), hosted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, convened in Ankara with the theme of “Disaster-Emergency Management and Humanitarian Assistance.”
President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, President Kassym-Jomart K. Tokayev of Kazakhstan, President Sadyr Japarov of Kyrgyzstan, OTS Term Chairman and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President Ersin Tatar of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) representing the observer states, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary, and Chairman Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov of the People’s Council of the National Assembly of Turkmenistan attended the Summit held at the Presidential Complex.
Welcomed by Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu upon their arrival at the Summit venue, the leaders shook hands with President Erdoğan and posed for a family photo before proceeding to the Summit.
