Messages on “November 24 Teachers’ Day”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan marked "November 24 Teachers' Day" by sharing a post on his social media account. 

In his post, President Erdoğan offered his congratulations on the day of teachers, who are the workers of heart and who educate hearts by kneading knowledge with wisdom and serve as bridges that carry the nation's ideals into the future.

Offering his gratitude to all teachers who selflessly serve both at home and abroad, President Erdoğan said, "I respectfully commemorate all teachers who have departed to eternity, especially those martyred in the line of duty or lost their lives in disasters and accidents. I remember with mercy the martyrs Şenay Aybüke Yalçın, Necmettin Yılmaz, and other valiant educators whose esteemed memories remain forever in our hearts. I would like to wish our teachers, who are in retirement after devotedly serving our nation, our country, and our children, a long, healthy and auspicious life.

Presidency's Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a post on his social media account marking November 24 Teachers' Day.

Head of Communications Altun stated the following in his post:

"I offer my congratulations on November 24 Teachers' Day, to our invaluable teachers who work selflessly and light the way for our children and youth while preparing them for the future.

On this significant day, I remember all of our departed teachers—especially our martyred ones—with mercy, respect, and longing."
