The Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, shared a post on his Nsosyal account regarding the launch event and panel for the book "From Roots to Horizons: The Story of Türkiye's Rising Defence Industry", held by the Presidency's Directorate of Communications.
In his message, Head of Communications Duran said:
"The launch event and panel that we, as the Presidency's Directorate of Communications, organised today for the book 'From Roots to Horizons: The Story of Türkiye's Rising Defence Industry' featured the participation of the Secretary of Turkish Defence Industries of the Republic of Türkiye, Prof. Haluk Görgün, esteemed representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as distinguished members of the national and international media.
Drawing inspiration from its roots, Türkiye is etching a remarkable success story in the defence industry as it advances towards new horizons.
As our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has stated, 'Türkiye has now reached a position where it leaves its mark on global markets with its defence industry products.'
It is in this area that one of the most significant manifestations of the Century of Türkiye is observed.
This blessed march, undertaken with unwavering determination to 'stand on our own feet,' is proclaimed to the world today through the proud accomplishments of our national defence industry.
I extend my gratitude to the Secretary of Turkish Defence Industries, Prof. Haluk Görgün, for honouring our programme, to our distinguished speakers who enriched the event, to our esteemed guests, and to all who contributed to the preparation of our book and panel.
