Presidency's Head of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, shared a statement on his social media account regarding the upcoming meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
Head of Communications Altun stated the following in his post:
"Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will meet with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Frank-Walter Steinmeier, in Ankara on Wednesday, February 5, during his official visit to Türkiye.
The discussions will focus on a range of issues, particularly cooperation in the defence industry, as well as Turkish-German relations in all their dimensions. The situation of the Turkish community in Germany will also be among the key topics on the agenda.
In addition, views will be exchanged on Türkiye-EU relations and current regional issues.
We believe that the deep-rooted and longstanding bilateral relations between Türkiye and Germany will be further strengthened through this visit."
