Many countries worldwide continue to send material and moral support, as well as condolence messages, to Türkiye for the victims of the earthquakes, which are described as the ‘disaster of the century'.
Today, Jordan, Hungary, Belgium and Pakistan continued to organize support campaigns for Türkiye through state institutions and independent organizations as part of global aid sent to disaster victims affected by the earthquakes described as the 'disaster of the century'.
Arab countries have provided in-kind and cash assistance to the disaster area since the earthquake's onset, including Palestine, Lebanon, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iraq, Algeria, Jordan, Yemen, Bahrain, Oman, Tunisia, and Libya, and they have also stated that they will continue to provide assistance and support and that they always stand with Türkiye in healing the wounds of this disaster.
While our national basketball player, Cedi Osman, started an aid campaign to help earthquake victims in the disaster area, the International Gymnastics Federation stated that they would not forget our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake by unfurling the Turkish and Syrian flags and using black ribbons in the championships to be held this year.
