Presidency's Director of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a post on his social media account with the hashtag ''Let Gaza babies live'' (#LetGazaBabiesLive).
In the post, Altun included video of Fadia Malhis, a gynaecologist at Gaza Shifa Hospital, explaining that the incubator containing newborn babies had run out of medicine and food, the hospital's heating system was not functioning, and if electricity was not provided within eight hours, the infants would die.
Director of Communications Altun noted:
"We are witnessing the humanitarian crisis that Gaza's babies are going through. Lack of energy and clean water, shortage of food... Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is conducting intense diplomacy to find a solution to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. We stand with the people of Gaza and call on the international community to unite. Medical and humanitarian aid is needed urgently."
