Digital Display Centers, set up by the Directorate of Communications in Bursa, Çanakkale, Samsun, Konya, Kayseri, Antalya and Diyarbakır, will provide digital exhibits of the struggle put up against the July 15 coup attempt and the resulting victory.
The Directorate of Communications, which by using new communications and display techniques and technologies made available for the public the national, historical, cultural, and scientific riches of the nation, set up new Digital Display Centers themed "July 15 Nation's Victory" in Bursa, Çanakkale, Samsun, Konya, Kayseri, Antalya and Diyarbakır.
The Digital Display Centers, set up to ensure the July 15 Victory is not forgotten, will exhibit, throughout July, the important moments in the nation's struggle against the July 15 coup attempt of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) and the resulting victory.
The visually- and hearing-impaired-friendly
All necessary measures against the Covid-19 pandemic will be in place for visitors at the Digital Display Centers.
The foyer area is the first section to welcome visitors at the Centers that have a total of five sections. Visitors will be able to get information about the Center in the foyer area and also watch a 3D hologram show.
The Centers have a tactile paving for the visually-impaired, and sign-language translation for the hearing-impaired visitors.
Epic of July 15 in 360-degree view
Visitors will get to the 360-degree viewing area at the Centers through a tunnel featuring digital displays. At this section, they will relive in 3D display what happened on the night of July 15 and how the national will fought against the treacherous coup attempt. The digital display is also enhanced by a cinematic sound system.
A digital mapping display awaits visitors after the 360-degree digital viewing area. At this section, visitors will be able to watch the turning points during the July 15 coup attempt in a unique 3D display enhanced with cinematic sound system.
At the hologram display area that will appear following that, a hologram show supported by wireframe technology can be watched. While watching the hologram show, at the projection screen right next to it, a video film will be available on the past and present of the FETO organization which attempted the treacherous July 15 coup attempt.
At the info screen, which is the last display area of the digital display center, a show will be shown on the 251 martyrs of the nation, which resisted the coup attempt and recognized no will other than the national will.
The digital display center will be open to visit between 12.00-20.00 throughout the week, and all day on July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day.
Visitors will be presented with VR glasses and Turkish Flag
Within the scope of July 15 commemorations, visitors of the digital display center will be offered VR glasses and Turkish flag. The video titled July 15 Nation's Victory Day, prepared with virtual reality by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, can be watched with VR glasses.
The new Digital Display Centers
The Digital Display Centers will develop contents on different themes and concepts on a monthly basis, and will exhibit projects pioneered by our President, namely Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Anadolu Aircraft Carrier, and Hürkuş aircraft, all high-tech defence industry productions developed with Turkish national resources.
The 360-degree viewing areas will also feature digital exhibits of historical and cultural themes, such as August 30 National Victory Day, the Seljuk Architecture, Göbeklitepe, and Faces of Anatolia.
In addition to the digital holographic displays of historically important persons, such as Ara Güler, Necip Fazıl Kısakürek, and Mawlana Jalaluddin al-Rumi, the Centers will also exhibit Turkey's goals for 2023 and leaps in mega projects.
