In the Digital Display Centre opened by the Directorate of Communications in Samsun, the struggle and victory won against the coup attempt of FETO on July 15, 2016 are displayed on digital environment.
Throughout July, highlights of the struggle and victory won by the nation against the treacherous coup attempt staged by the Fetullah Terrorist Organisation (FETO) on July 15 have been exhibited on the digital media in the “July 15 Nation’s Victory” themed new Digital Display Centres opened by the Directorate of Communications, which have offered national, historical, cultural and scientific riches for access of the citizens using novel communication and displaying techniques, in Samsun along with Bursa, Çanakkale, Konya, Kayseri, Antalya and Diyarbakır.
Visitors, who are hosted in groups by taking necessary precautions against the Covid-19 pandemic in the Digital Screening Centre opened at Cumhuriyet Square in Samsun, are able to watch the three-dimensional hologram display while receiving information about the display centre in the foyer.
In the display centre, which has a "tactile paving" for the visually impaired citizens, sign language narration is also offered for the hearing impaired citizens.
The 360-degree visual experience area in the centre is entered through a tunnel with digital display.
In this section, a 3D display exhibited that tells about what happened on the night of July 15, 2016 and the resistance put up by the nation's will against the treacherous coup attempt. The digital display is also enhanced by a cinematic sound system.
At this section, visitors will be able to watch the turning points during the July 15 coup attempt in a unique 3D display enhanced with cinematic sound system.
At the hologram display area that will appear following that, hologram show supported by wireframe technology can be watched.
Within the scope of July 15 commemorations, visitors of the digital display centre will be offered VR glasses and Turkish flag.
The video titled July 15 Nation's Victory and prepared with virtual reality by the Presidency’s Directorate of Communications can be watched with VR glasses. While watching the hologram show, at the projection screen right next to it, a video film will be available on the past and present of FETO organization which attempted the treacherous July 15 coup attempt.
At the info screen, which is the last display area of the Centre, a show will be shown on the 251 martyrs of the nation, which resisted the coup attempt and recognized no will other than the national will.
