Photograph exhibitions “July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day” and “July 15 in Headlines”, which are composed of the photos taken during and after the coup attempt of the Fethullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) on July 15, 2016, have opened at Selimiye Square in Edirne.
The exhibition, which was held around the statue of Mehmed the Conqueror at Selimiye Square under the coordination of the Directorate of Communications, featured the photographs of the fight against the treacherous coup attempt by FETO on July 15.
In the exhibition “July 15 in Headlines” held within the scope of the July 15 Democracy and National Unity Day activities, the photographs of the headlines published in local and national newspapers following the coup attempt have been put on display.
The Deputy Mayor of the Edirne Selçuk Çakır, Edirne Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Kemal Soytürk, Edirne Provincial Director of National Education Önder Arpacı, AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency) Provincial Director of Edirne Ali Altındal and the President of the Thrace Journalists Association Orhan Doğan attended the exhibit which has garnered much attention by the public.
Photograph exhibitions will be open to visitors throughout the day.
