In London, the choreography was performed to symbolize the spirit of unity, solidarity and cooperation of the Turkish nation during the coup attempt of the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) on July 15, 2016.
The show, designed by Presidency’s Directorate of Communications for the commemoration of July 15, was held at Tower Hill at 16.00 pm local time.
Simultaneously, 100 performers including 50 Turkish and 50 British took part in the choreography which was also held in Istanbul.
The choreography included a story that symbolized the unity, solidarity and cooperation of the Turkish nation against terrorists who were FETO members and carried out the treacherous coup attempt.
While the show started with the sudden stop of the daily life of the people, the main attention was drawn to the first news received about the coup attempt.
In the event which symbolized the people who fell to the ground and the people around them staged to help them, it was explained how people who did not know each other started a solidarity campaign.
The show ended when people fought against the coup attempt and eventually re-waved the Turkish flag.
It was stated that the preparations for the choreography lasted for two months and the music of the choreography which was conducted simultaneously in Istanbul and London was specially composed.
