Agreements covering a wide range andof areas and the Joint Declaration on the 11th Meeting of the Supreme Strategic Committee were signed in the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar.
The 11th Meeting of Türkiye-Qatar Supreme Strategic Committee, co-chaired by President Erdoğan and Emir Sheikh Al Thani of Qatar, followed the one-to-one and inter-delegation meetings held at the Amiri Divan.
Following the meeting, a signing ceremony for the agreements between the two countries was held in the presence of President Erdoğan and Emir Al Thani of Qatar.
"The Joint Declaration on the Eleventh Meeting of the Supreme Strategic Committee between the Republic of Türkiye and the State of Qatar" was signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani of Qatar.
"The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and Experience Sharing in Various Fields of Strategic Development Planning between the Presidency of Strategy and Budget of the Republic of Türkiye and the Government of the State of Qatar" was signed by Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, and Secretary General of the National Planning Council Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa of Qatar.
"The Joint Ministerial Statement between the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Qatar" was signed by Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al Thani of Qatar.
"The Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Defence Industry" was signed by Secretary of Turkish Defence Industries Haluk Görgün and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan bin Ali Al Thani.
President Erdoğan attended a luncheon banquet held in his honour hosted by Emir Sheikh Al Thani of Qatar at the Amiri Diwan.
The luncheon was also attended by delegations from both countries.
