Six international agreements approved by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan were published in the Official Gazette.
The "Agreement on the Mutual Promotion and Protection of Investments" signed between Türkiye and the Republic of Ivory Coast on February 29, 2016, aims to encourage the mutual promotion of investors by the parties and to ensure that international law is treated in line with minimum standards, including fair and equitable treatment as well as full protection and security.
It was decided to approve the "Agreement Amending the Free Trade Agreement," signed between Türkiye and Morocco on August 24, 2020, along with the attached notes. According to the decision, the Moroccan side will re-apply customs duties on Turkish-origin products for a five-year period under Annex 1 of the Agreement, addressing the need for enhanced protection for the infant industries and industries at risk of market distortion.
According to the "Agreements on Military Framework and Military Training Cooperation" signed between Türkiye and Cameroon on January 30, 2018, in Ankara, the parties aim to strengthen their defence cooperation, which is based on the mutual respect for sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and equality of the two countries. The parties seek to improve their cooperation in order to contribute to common interests and economic efficiency of the two countries.
In line with the "Protocol on Cooperation in the field of Vocational Training" signed between Türkiye and Azerbaijan on February 19, 2021, in Ankara, two vocational education institutions in Azerbaijan, two new vocational education institutions will be established in fields such as information technologies, accommodation and travel services with the support of Türkiye.
