President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in Tatarstan’s capital Kazan for the 16th BRICS Summit, made remarks regarding the terror attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries’ facility in Ankara, and said: “We have four martyrs and 14 wounded. I condemn this nefarious terrorist attack and wish Allah’s mercy upon our martyrs.”
Prior to his bilateral meeting with President Vladimir Putin of Russia on the sidelines of the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan, Tatarstan, President Erdoğan made remarks regarding the terror attack on the Turkish Aerospace Industries’ facility in Ankara, and said: “We have four martyrs and 14 wounded. I condemn this nefarious terrorist attack and wish Allah’s mercy upon our martyrs.”
Later on President Erdoğan made the following statement on his X account:
“The terrorist act against the Turkish Aerospace Industries, one of the engine organizations of the Turkish defense industry, is a despicable attack that has targeted our country’s perseverance, our nation’s tranquility and our defense initiatives, which are the epitomes of our ‘Full Independent Türkiye’ ideal.
Our security forces have quickly intervened in the incident since the first moment of the terrorist act, and have neutralized terrorists.
Our nation should rest assured that the dirty hands infringing on Türkiye will definitely be broken, and that no structure, no terrorist organization, no malicious circle that threaten our security will be able to achieve their intentions.
Our fight against any terrorist threats and their supporters will continue in a determined and multidimensional manner.
I pray for Allah’s mercy upon our brothers, who were martyred in the treacherous terrorist act, and wish a speedy recovery to our injured.
I extend my condolences to the selfless workers of the Turkish Aerospace Industries, the source of pride of our defense industry, and our nation.”
