In a post shared on his NSosyal account, the Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, announced that President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will pay an official visit to Türkiye on 26–28 January 2026.
In his post, Head of Communications Duran said:
"President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will pay an official visit to our country on 26–28 January 2026, at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Within the scope of the visit, the meetings to be held on Tuesday, 27 January, will encompass a comprehensive review of the bilateral relations between Türkiye and Nigeria, along with the anticipated signing of agreements aimed at further enhancing cooperation.
The meetings will include a comprehensive exchange of views on regional and international issues.
Furthermore, it is anticipated that a roundtable meeting between President Tinubu and business representatives, as well as a meeting with the defence industry, will be conducted on the margins of the visit."
