Head of Communications Duran’s statement regarding military cargo plane crash at Georgia-Azerbaijan border

Presidency’s Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran made a statement regarding the search and rescue operations for the C-130 military cargo plane that crashed on the Azerbaijan–Georgia border, through a post shared on his NSosyal account.

Head of Communications Duran stated the following in his post:

''The search and rescue as well as crash investigation teams continue their efforts regarding our aircraft that crashed on the Azerbaijan–Georgia border. The bodies of our revered martyrs will be brought back to our country by the A-400M aircraft, which transported our search and rescue and crash investigation teams to Georgia.

We would like to thank the Georgian authorities, who, from the very beginning, mobilised all available resources in the wreckage search and rescue operations, responded swiftly, and provided us with support.

Updates on the matter will continue to be shared.''
