Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, announced in a message shared on his social media account that President Lee Jae-myung of the Republic of Korea will pay an official visit to Ankara on November 24–25.
In his post, Head of Communications Duran said:
President Lee Jae-myung of the Republic of Korea will pay a state visit to Türkiye on November 24–25, 2025, in response to the invitation extended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
This upcoming visit, taking place at the Head of State level with our strategic partner, the Republic of Korea, will serve to enhance the robust ties and friendship-based relations that have been built between our nations since the Korean War.
During the talks to be held at the Presidential Complex on November 24, all dimensions of our bilateral relations will be reviewed, and steps aimed at further enhancing cooperation in energy, defence industry, transportation, infrastructure, high technology, culture, and tourism are expected to be addressed.
During the visit, it is also anticipated that views will be exchanged on current regional and global developments, and various documents that will reinforce the legal framework of our bilateral cooperation will be signed.”
