Presidency’s Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, shared a post on his NSosyal account regarding President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s upcoming participation in the “Sharm El-Sheikh Summit for Peace,” to be held on October 13, 2025, in Sharm El-Sheikh, in connection with the ceasefire reached in Gaza.
In his statement, Head of Communications Duran said:
“Our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will visit Sharm El-Sheikh on October 13, 2025, to attend the ‘Sharm El-Sheikh Summit for Peace’, which will be convened regarding the ceasefire agreement reached in Gaza, upon the invitation of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt and President Donald Trump of the U.S.
Our President is expected to address the Summit and hold consultations with the leaders of the participating countries."
