Head of Communications Duran’s statement on President Erdoğan’s messages at OIC and Arab League Summit

Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, shared a statement on his social media account regarding the messages given by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, organised jointly by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League.

In his statement, Head of Communications Duran said:

"President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan once again took a firm stand on the Palestine and Gaza issue at the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, which was organised jointly by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League."

His statement, "We must intensify our diplomatic efforts to expand the sanctions against Israel. Legal mechanisms must be employed to hold Israeli authorities accountable before justice," clearly emphasised Türkiye's diplomatic stance.

This approach is not simply a reaction to the ongoing crisis; it stands as a strong call for the international order to be restructured upon the foundations of justice, the rule of law, and human dignity. President Erdoğan’s firm stance mirrors the collective conscience of the Islamic world and reaffirms Türkiye’s responsibility in the global struggle for peace and justice.

President Erdoğan conveyed significant messages in his speech:

▪️ "The Islamic world possesses the fortitude and the means to frustrate Israel's expansionist ambitions."

▪️ "We all know that Israel will not stop in the short term unless it comes under a strong reaction and sanctions, further speeding up its occupation and destabilising policies."
