The Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, issued a statement regarding the official visit to Türkiye by the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, on 7 July 2026, at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
In a post on his NSosyal account, Head of Communications Duran noted:
"At the invitation of our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President Donald Trump of the United States of America will pay an official visit to our country on 7 July 2026.
At the meetings to be held in Ankara, relations between Türkiye and the United States—two close allies and strategic partners—will be reviewed in all their dimensions, including defence, trade, and investment. The leaders will also discuss possible steps to further deepen the existing cooperation. Views on regional and global developments will also be exchanged during the meetings."
