"The future of space will be discussed in Antalya from 5 to 9 October.
The 77th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2026), the world’s largest and most prestigious space gathering, will be hosted by Türkiye under the theme “The World Needs More Space.”
Bringing together thousands of participants from 108 countries in Antalya, the Congress will demonstrate Türkiye’s growing capacity and international visibility in the fields of space, science and technology, with Türkiye ranking first with 753 submitted papers.
I wish IAC 2026, which will be held under the coordination of our Ministry of Industry and Technology and co-hosted by the Turkish Space Agency and SAHA İstanbul, to pave the way for new partnerships, scientific studies and ideas that will shape the future of space.
May this major gathering, extending from Antalya to the world, be auspicious for our country."
