Head of Communications Duran’s reaction to attacks on Muslims who sought to perform Eid prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, strongly condemned the Israeli occupying forces’ attack on Muslims who sought to perform Eid prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque through a post on his social media account.

In his post, Head of Communications Duran noted:

“I strongly condemn the Israeli occupying forces’ attack on Muslims who sought to perform Eid prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

On a day like Eid al-Fitr, when the spirit of unity, peace, and brotherhood is at its strongest, this attack on civilians gathered for worship is a clear violation of freedom of religion and human dignity.

This act of barbarity by Israel, which disregards law, principles, and values, adds yet another stain to its record of shame.

Türkiye will continue to maintain its resolute stance against all violations and unlawful actions targeting the status and sanctity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.”
