Head of Communications Duran’s message on “International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People”

Presidency’s Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran issued a message on his NSosyal account on the occasion of the ''International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.''

In his post, Head of Communications Duran noted:

''The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People signifies being a voice for the oppressed, standing on the side of justice, and upholding humanity's shared conscience.
The occupation and oppression that have persisted for years in the Palestinian territories are a test not only for one people, but for all of humanity.
Despite all pressures, our Palestinian brothers and sisters, who have resisted with dignity and preserved their faith and hope, have become a symbol of justice, resistance, and human dignity.

Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Türkiye regards the Palestinian issue not merely as a regional problem, but as a matter of humanity’s collective conscience.

Our President has, at every opportunity, raised the strongest voice against the injustice unfolding before the eyes of the world. By declaring that “The world is bigger than five”, he has challenged the double standards of an international system that has failed to speak for the Palestinian people.

Türkiye continues to stand with Palestine through both humanitarian assistance and diplomatic initiatives. Safeguarding the most fundamental rights of our brothers and sisters in Gaza, the West Bank, and Al-Quds is a shared responsibility of international law and of humanity as a whole.  We firmly believe that oppression cannot endure forever; justice will ultimately prevail.
The struggle of the Palestinian people is a beacon of hope — a torch lighting the path towards freedom, dignity and peace.

Türkiye will never turn its back on its Palestinian brothers and sisters on this journey.

Until an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, with Al-Quds as its capital, is established, Türkiye will remain the strongest advocate of the Palestinian cause.
The future of Palestine will be free, and the future of Al-Quds will be bright.”
