Presidency’s Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, congratulated Azerbaijan on its Independence Day, celebrated on October 18, through a post shared on his social media account.
In his message, Head of Communications Duran said:
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to brotherly and friendly Azerbaijan on the occasion of its Independence Day on October 18, and wish the people of Azerbaijan peaceful and prosperous days ahead.
Türkiye is honoured to stand by brotherly Azerbaijan with the spirit of ‘one nation, two states.’ As has been the case throughout history, our destiny, our joy, and our goals remain united today.”
On the other hand, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated Azerbaijan on its October 18 Independence Day in a post shared on his NSosyal account.
In his message, President Erdoğan said: “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to our dear friend, brother and cherished Azerbaijan on its October 18 Independence Day. On this proud day, I extend my warm greetings to my esteemed brother Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan.”
