In his message, Head of Communications Duran stated:
“23 April, dedicated to our children as the custodians of our future, marks the proclamation of our nation’s will and independence.
This meaningful day, enshrined with the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, stands as the clearest manifestation that sovereignty unequivocally resides with the nation.
I wholeheartedly celebrate the 106th anniversary of the opening of our Ghazi Assembly and 23 April National Sovereignty and Children’s Day of our dear children.
I respectfully commemorate all our heroes, especially Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who turned these lands into our homeland.”
