Presidency’s Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran issued a message on his NSosyal account on the occasion of the 15 March International Day to Combat Islamophobia.
In his post, Head of Communications Duran said:
"15 March International Day to Combat Islamophobia is a universal day that highlights the importance attached to tolerance, justice, and the culture of co-existence.
Unfortunately, Muslims in different regions of the world face discrimination and hostilities targeting their worship, sacred places, and daily lives. Such actions threaten not only individuals but also social peace and human rights.
We know that cultivating a collective conscience against all forms of hate and discriminatory rhetoric demeaning human dignity is a greater responsibility today than ever before."
