Head of Communications Duran: “The voice rising from this podium will be that of all oppressed regions”

In a post on his NSocial account, the Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, stated that on September 23, at the United Nations General Assembly, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will be the voice of oppressed regions from Palestine to Africa, from Karabakh to Ukraine.

In his message, Head of Communications Duran said:

"On September 23, at the United Nations General Assembly, our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will once again give voice to the collective conscience of humanity.

The voice rising from this podium will be that of all oppressed regions, from Palestine to Africa, from Karabakh to Ukraine, a cry for justice and fairness.

President Erdoğan underscored that leaving the resolution of humanitarian crises to the mercy of the Security Council’s veto powers has no justification, and 12 years ago, he proclaimed this bitter truth from the UN podium with the words, 'The world is bigger than five.'

In this context, our President’s words, 'The world is bigger than five,' are not a slogan but a manifesto for a new global order of justice. This call has become not only Türkiye's but also a call for the future of humanity, peace, and conscience.

As in his past addresses to the UN General Assembly, on September 23 we will witness our President present a vision that sides with the righteous over the powerful, offering a new roadmap for the global system."
