Head of Communications Duran: “The global conscience has the power to stop and overcome Israel”

Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, shared a post on his social media account condemning Israel's decision to occupy Gaza.

In his statement, Head of Communications Duran said:

"We strongly condemn Israel's decision to occupy Gaza, which will exacerbate human rights violations and humanitarian crises. Israel's plans and assaults are targeting all of humanity, peace and stability.

Israel’s efforts to cement its occupation breaches both international legal norms and humanitarian values.

Given the intensified bombardments targeting civilians, the destruction of infrastructure, and the obstruction of basic humanitarian necessities, Israel’s actions in Gaza blatantly constitute genocide.

There can be no justification for occupation, oppression, or the deliberate targeting of innocent lives. Humanity's conscience cannot be silenced. It is essential that the international community firmly stand against such unilateral actions and actively pursue an equitable resolution.

We urge the world: Break the silence and lift your voice for humanity and justice!

The global conscience has the power to stop and overcome Israel.

As President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has boldly emphasised, “All others may choose silence and indifference; yet we do not, we cannot simply remain silent, and rest assured, we will not.”
