Presidency’s Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran shared a message on his NSosyal account regarding the opening of Ankara Airport and its Connecting Roads.
In his post, Head of Communications Duran stated:
“Our capital, Ankara, is gaining yet another landmark project worthy of the Century of Türkiye vision. The Ankara Airport and its Connecting Roads, which will be inaugurated today in the presence of President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, will stand as a new symbol of the major strides achieved in transportation and infrastructure over the past 23 years.
With its modern infrastructure and strategic location, Ankara Airport will further strengthen the international role and aviation capacity of our capital. By welcoming world leaders during the NATO Summit to be held on 7–8 July, it will also contribute to Türkiye’s diplomatic strength and its capacity to host major international events.
I hope that Ankara Airport, built in line with this vision of advancing Türkiye in every field, will be beneficial for our capital, our beloved nation, and our country. I would like to extend my gratitude to everyone who contributed to this project.”
