Head of Communications Duran shares condolence message for journalists massacred in Gaza

In a post on his social media account, the Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, condemned Israel's attacks on journalists and wished mercy for the journalists and Palestinians who lost their lives.

In his message, Head of Communications Duran said:

"Israel has added a new one to its list of crimes against humanity and war crimes. The freedom of the press and the values of humanity were once again targeted amidst the cries of the innocent, under the shadow of genocide.

Israel, which continues its oppression without regard for any humanitarian or legal principles, is under the illusion that it can prevent the truth from being revealed through its systematic attacks on journalists. It seeks to annihilate a nation under blockade and genocide.

Everyone with a conscience, the international community and international organisations must now speak out louder and put an end to this genocide, which will go down as a dark chapter in the history of humanity. At this point, humanity is unable to bear this heavy burden.

I wish Allah's mercy upon the massacred journalists and our Palestinian brothers and sisters. I respectfully salute all members of the press who are risking their lives to bring the atrocities in Gaza to the attention of the world."
