Presidency's Head of Communications Duran offered his insights regarding the fifth Strategic Communication Summit (STRATCOM 2026), held in İstanbul on 27–28 March.
In a post he shared on his NSosyal account, Head of Communications Duran noted:
"It is with pride that we mark the successful conclusion of the fifth International Strategic Communication Summit (STRATCOM 2026), themed ‘Disruption in the International System: Crises, Narratives, and Search for Order’, following two days of intensive and productive panel discussions.
I would like to express my heartfelt pleasure at hosting this significant gathering and welcoming such a distinguished selection of international participants on behalf of the Directorate of Communications of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.
The summit addressed a wide range of critical issues, from international security and strategic communication to technology, diplomacy, global cooperation, and current developments. I believe that our bilateral engagements have paved the way for valuable opportunities for cooperation.
The participants provided the summit with an invaluable perspective by sharing their views in light of current geopolitical developments.
The rapid changes across the world are making the importance of inter‑state cooperation and effective communication more apparent than ever. In this context, the International Strategic Communication Summit provided a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience at both national and international levels. The lively interactions among participants ensured that the summit was productive.
Throughout the programme, our esteemed panelists—expert academics, seasoned journalists, and leading figures in their fields— contributed to the summit’s wealth of knowledge by sharing the impacts of global and regional developments on strategic communication. The active participation of attendees ensured that the summit took place in an interactive, productive and inspiring environment.
STRATCOM Summit 2026 became a platform offering participants unique opportunities for knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas. The Summit will remain a landmark reference event in the field of strategic communication, serving as a guide for the future.
