The Presidency's Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran issued a statement condemning Israel’s latest attacks targeting civilians and healthcare infrastructure in Gaza.
In a post on his NSosyal account, Head of Communications Duran stated:
"At a time when diplomatic efforts to secure a ceasefire and achieve lasting peace in Gaza have offered renewed hope, Israel’s latest attacks targeting civilians and healthcare infrastructure are deliberately undermining every initiative toward peace.
These attacks, which show complete disregard for the right to life of women, children, and innocent civilians, clearly demonstrate that the Netanyahu government is intent not on ending the conflict, but on deepening the crisis.
The international community must adopt a more effective and principled stance to put an end to these aggressive policies that threaten regional stability.
Under the leadership of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Türkiye will continue to stand by international law, human dignity, and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, while supporting all efforts to achieve a just and lasting peace."
