Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran met with Nayden Vladislavov Todorov, the Minister of Culture of Bulgaria, in İstanbul on the margins of the International Strategic Communication Summit (STRATCOM Summit) 2026.
In a post on his NSosyal account regarding the meeting, Duran said:
"As part of our engagements on the second day of the International Strategic Communication Summit (STRATCOM Summit), we held a meeting with Nayden Vladislavov Todorov, Minister of Culture of Bulgaria.
During our meeting, we exchanged views on the role of cultural diplomacy in strategic communication, on strengthening cultural interaction between our countries, and on new opportunities for cooperation in the field of communication through joint projects.
In line with the vision of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we will continue to more effectively leverage the complementary aspects of the fields of culture and communication.
I sincerely hope that this meeting will contribute to further deepening mutual understanding between Türkiye and Bulgaria in the fields of culture and communication, and pave the way for new avenues of cooperation between the two friendly and brotherly countries."
