The Presidency’s Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, shared a congratulatory message on his NSosyal account marking the 15 May International Day of Families.
In his message, Head of Communications Duran stated:
“The family structure, where the values of love, respect, solidarity, and unity are upheld, forms the foundation of a strong society.
With President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan declaring 2025 as the ‘Year of the Family,’ significant initiatives have been launched to protect and strengthen the institution of the family. In line with this vision, the 2026–2035 period has also been declared the ‘Decade of Family and Population,’ with the aim of reinforcing the family structure, supporting the young population, and passing on our national values to future generations.
I hope that the 15 May International Day of Families will serve to strengthen family bonds, and I extend my congratulations to all families on this meaningful occasion.”
