Head of Communications Duran: “Genocidal Netanyahu cannot pass judgment on history”

The Presidency's Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, shared a post on his social media account regarding Netanyahu's statements on the events of 1915.

In his message, Head of Communications Duran said:

"At a moment when thousands of innocent people in Gaza are subjected to a systematic genocide, and children, women, and the elderly perish under bombardment and from hunger, the statements of Netanyahu, the principal architect of this genocide, regarding the events of 1915 represent blatant hypocrisy that exploits both history and law.

The events unfolding in Gaza today bear all the elements of genocide under international law. The crimes of killing tens of thousands of civilians, systematically eradicating the basic means of life, and imposing forced mass displacement are perpetrated in full view of the world.

For an individual who has perpetrated such crimes to pass judgment on history has no legitimacy.

Türkiye will continue its efforts in every field to ensure that Netanyahu and his network of massacres, already condemned in the conscience of the international community, face the gravest punishment before international courts."
