Presidency’s Head of Communications, Burhanettin Duran, condemned the attack targeting civilian infrastructure serving the Prophet’s Mosque in a message shared on his NSosyal account.
Head of Communications Duran stated:
“I condemn the attack targeting civilian infrastructure serving Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (the Prophet’s Mosque) in Medina.
Any attack targeting the sanctity, peace and security of the Two Holy Mosques is an unacceptable affront to the shared sensitivities of the entire Islamic world.
I hope such attacks, which threaten the peace and stability of the region, will end as soon as possible.
Under the leadership of our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we, as Türkiye, will continue to stand by Saudi Arabia.”
