Presidency’s Head of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, shared a post on his social media account regarding the upcoming visit of President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan to Türkiye.
In his statement, Altun said:
“President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, will pay a visit to our country on Thursday, June 19, 2025, upon the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
As part of the visit, President Erdoğan and President Aliyev will attend the inauguration of a permanent housing project named the ‘Azerbaijan Neighbourhood’ in Kahramanmaraş, which was jointly constructed by Türkiye and Azerbaijan following the earthquake that struck our country in February 2023.
On this occasion, it is also expected that the two leaders will exchange views on bilateral relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan as well as current regional developments.”
