Head of Communications Altun’s statement on the visit of Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Japan to Türkiye

Head of Communications Altun: "We sincerely hope that the first official visit of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of the Imperial Family to our country will contribute to the further strengthening of the deep-rooted ties of friendship and solidarity between Türkiye and Japan."

Presidency's Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a post on his social media account that Crown Prince Fumihito and Crown Princess Kiko of Japan paid an official visit to Türkiye on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Japan.

Stating that during their visit till December 7, the Crown Prince and Crown Princess will meet with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan, attend social and cultural events in İstanbul, and meet with contacts in Ankara, Head of Communications Altun noted:

''As part of their visit, they will inspect the Kalehöyük excavation site in the Kaman district of Kırşehir, where Turkish and Japanese archaeologists are working in collaboration. We sincerely hope that the first official visit of the Crown Prince and Crown Princess of the Imperial Family to our country will contribute to the further strengthening of the deep-rooted ties of friendship and solidarity between Türkiye and Japan."
