Head of Communications Altun’s statement on President Erdoğan’s visit to Hungary

The Presidency’s Head of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, announced via his social media account that President Erdoğan will attend the Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS), to be held in Budapest.

In his post, Head of Communications Altun said:

“Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Hungary tomorrow (Wednesday, 21 May) to attend the Informal Summit of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS), which will be held in Budapest.

The Budapest Summit, to be held under the theme “The Meeting Point of East and West”, will feature a review of ongoing efforts to strengthen the institutional structure of the Organisation of Turkic States and is expected to result in the adoption of various documents and decisions, including the Budapest Declaration.

President Erdoğan is scheduled to attend the Council of Heads of State meeting of the Organisation of Turkic States on the margins of the Summit and hold bilateral talks with participating heads of state and government.”
