In a post he shared on social media regarding Gaza, the Presidency's Head of Communications, Fahrettin Altun, said, "Remaining silent in the face of this oppression signifies that humanity has abandoned its conscience."
In his message , Head of Communications Altun said:
"The tragedies that occurred in Gaza are etched as a dark stain on human history. Innocent civilians subjected to relentless bombardment, cities reduced to ruins, and the humanitarian crisis intensifying with each fleeting moment…
As Türkiye, we continue to stand with the oppressed and uphold the principles of justice and human dignity. We continue to be the voice of the people of Gaza with determination and defend the Palestinian cause in the strongest possible manner on international platforms under the leadership of our President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Remaining silent in the face of this oppression signifies that humanity has abandoned its conscience. Now is the time for the international community to assume responsibility and put an end to this injustice.
Now is the time to demonstrate solidarity with Gaza!
In order to provide support to Gaza:
Text GAZA to 1866."
