In a post he shared on social media regarding Israeli attacks on Palestinians, Head of Communications Altun said:
"Israel is, once again, showing the world that it is only interested in bloodshed, war, and occupation. They have been routinely violating the ceasefire agreement and now want to resume their ethnic cleansing activities. They insist on disregarding the international law and all norms of human decency. While the western media portrays this as a “surprise” attack, we are not surprised by this massacre that is exactly befitting of the Israeli policy of genocide. The “civilized” world has consistently failed to call out slaughter of tens of thousands and they appear “surprised” by yet another chapter in Israel’s campaign to systematically murder innocent civilians. It is abhorrent that the western countries continue to give material support to this genocidal regime in Tel Aviv. The failure of moral clarity on the Israeli actions will come back to bite them when they make arguments about human rights and democracy. The inability and unwillingness of the West to impose costs on Israel is simply appalling. Our Palestinian brothers and sisters have always shown strength and conviction in their struggle against colonialist occupiers. Their resilient spirit cannot be broken. They will never bow down to oppressors. Those in the Israeli government know this well and they are helpless in the face of such resistance. I condemn the latest Israeli attacks on Palestinians in strongest terms. I salute our Palestinian brothers and sisters who bravely defy all odds against them. They must know that they inspire millions around the world with their courage and yearning for freedom in the face of these horrible massacres by a weak, scared, and insecure occupation regime. As our President Erdoğan has said many times, the Israeli war criminals must be stopped by the alliance of humanity. The “civilized world” must come to its senses and stop this madness once and for all by holding the Israeli regime accountable and by pushing for the two-state solution. As Türkiye, we will always stand by our Palestinian brothers and sisters. We will never shy away from standing up against cruelty, oppression and occupation. Sooner or later, Palestine will be free!"
