Presidency's Head of Communications Fahrettin Altun shared a post on his social media account regarding President Erdoğan's participation in the 11th Summit of the Developing Eight (D-8) Organisation.
Head of Communications Altun noted the following in his post.
"Our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Egypt on Thursday, December 19, 2024, to attend the 11th Summit of the Developing Eight (D-8) Organisation.
Our President will address the Summit themed "Investing in Youth and Supporting SMEs: Shaping Tomorrow's Economy" and will participate in the Special Session on the situation in Palestine and Lebanon.
Our President, who will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts at the Summit, will exchange views with the heads of state and government on current global and regional issues, with a particular emphasis on Syria and Palestine."
